I had dinner with production designer Billy Jett and director Mark Millhone Saturday night. Billy found some real jewels for our set design for the military depot . Also, Billy Jett is an Arkansan like me . He played bass in the band The Cate Brothers. Chances are I saw him play at least 15-20 times in Fayetteville.
Willa is a pop princess, Christian Kane is in a band, Riley Smith is too , Jeremy Bush plays drums, Kirsten plays piano and I attempt to play guitar…not sure if we’re making a movie or putting together a Dreamfly house band :=). John David Kent & The Dumb Angels will be the featured band in the bar scene in the film Minuteman and John Kent will be scoring the film for us
We moved to our new digs on Saturday and will be holding production meetings on card tables and on the floor until we get office furniture. We’ve decided to wallpaper the bathroom with the script pages of Minuteman—excellent reading material. We are very excited about our new home.
Fittings for Willa Ford and our soldiers took place this morning, SFX meeting at noon and then we will head to Guildhall to check out the progress of the video game. We should be completing the game this week. We will be up at the ranch and then over to our hosptial location as well. Riley Smith arrives Wednesday afternoon and rehearsals begin on Thursday…
