On the Road with John David Kent & the Dumb Angels

The band played to a packed crowd at KHYI’s 14th Annual Texas Music Revolution Festival. The event was held last Sunday, at Southfork Ranch with featured performances by: Leon Russell, Hayes Carll, Band of Heathens, Two Tons Of Steel, Brandon Jenkins, Walt Wilkins, John David Kent, Somebody’s Darling, Seth James, Dirt Drifters, Zane Williams, and Merrol Ray.  Photo by Bryan de Sosa.

Last Thursday the boys rocked at SXSW, at the Hotel San Jose, in Austin. The hotel is a SXSW favorite with celebrities for lodging, but this year they teamed up with Jo’s Coffee to present both film and music events of the festival.

The band is represented by Dreamfly Talent Management.  CMT, Country Music Television, has chosen “My Girl” the hot single by John David Kent & The Dumb Angels – as one of the top new country music videos. The music video is a Dreamfly production.
